Our Ministry

The Clarksburg Mission is the primary facility located in Harrison County that houses the homeless and feeds those in need. These needs are met regardless of geographic boundaries. We have served people from up to 18 counties, roughly one-third of West Virginia, and other states, as well.

During calendar year 2011, we provided nearly 45,000 meals and 25,000 nights of sleep. In our dorms, we house, children and their families and individuals, including veterans.

Meals are served every weekday at noon and 5:00 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 p.m. We also assist other local and regional food distribution organizations, in 2011 donating nearly 50 tons of food.

We are also supporting the Harrison County Backpack Program by providing snacks for fifty grade-school kids every week.
